Membership
A registered client will be able to fully benefit from the services, facilities and resources provided by the library as per their respective membership group.
Membership Group | Registration Procedure |

Undergraduate | Upon registration by Academic & Student Services, you will automatically be registered at the Library within 24 hours. Access to library services is valid until completion of studies. |
Graduates | Upon registration by Academic & Student Services, you will automatically be registered at the Library within 24 hours. Access to library services is valid until completion of studies. |
BUAN Staff | Upon finalisation of appointment, the library membership will be activated within 24 hours. Access to library services is valid until termination of employment with the university. |
Temporary Staff (Support) | Upon finalisation of appointment, the library membership will be activated within 24 hours. Access to library services is valid until termination of contract with the university. |
Visiting Scholars | Upon finalisation of appointment, the library membership will be activated within 24 hours. Access to library services is valid until termination of contract with the university. |

Institutional Members | Affiliated institutions should complete membership application form (hyperlink the form) and submit a written guarantee from the Head of the Institution. Access to library services is valid for two years thereafter subject to subsequent renewals following relevant membership audit. |
External Members | Individuals should complete membership application form (hyperlink the form) and submit it with two passport sized photographs, certified copy of National Identity card and written guarantee from the Head of Department. Access to library services is valid for two years thereafter subject to subsequent renewals following relevant membership audit. |
